Safe Vegetables for Rabbits
At Binky Factory Co, we are not only passionate about bringing joy to your furry companions but also dedicated to providing valuable insights for their well-being. When it comes to your rabbit's diet, we emphasize the significance of incorporating a variety of fresh vegetables. These nutrient-packed greens play a crucial role in maintaining your bunny's health by offering essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber. A balanced diet contributes not only to their physical vitality but also enhances their overall happiness. Together, let's create a world where well-informed care results in the happiest and healthiest binkies.
Hay should consist of 80% of your rabbit’s diet. Fresh vegetables should usually make up approximately 10% of your adult rabbit’s diet. Fruits should be considered a treat and be less than 5% of a rabbit’s diet.
For adult rabbits, a good rule of thumb is approximately one cup of packed greens for every two pounds of rabbit.
Please remember to check with your vet on what is safe for your rabbits diet.
